Our Terms & Conditions

A Standing order needs to be made for each monthly payment.

Payment needs to be made on the same date every month on the same as the start date this subscription was made.

 

We provide cover for your parcel up to £1000.00 and have a maximum capacity of 20kg, 39cm width, 63cm height and 57cm depth.

With the subscription you have selected, you have access to the lockers 24/7 for parcel movements.

 

 

Attached to this document will be terms and conditions and this agreement is subject to you undertaking these conditions which are important and involve your personal responsibility and liability. Please acknowledge that you have read the terms and conditions which are referred in the attached pages.

 

 

INTRODUCTION

 

These conditions set out the rights and obligations of the smart parcel locker operator (we, us or our) and the customers (you or your). These terms and conditions can only be changed with the prior written agreement of both Smart Parcel Hub and the customer. 

 

The smart parcel hub facility will be with 24/7 live and recorded CCTV.

Our lockers are secure and safe and will be locked until you come and collect you parcel.

 

All parcels need to be collected within 24 hours. If the parcel in the locker exceeds the time stated above, then we have the right to remove the parcel and impose extra charges for us storing in our storage facility or in our office.

 

Your Parcel must comply with the requirements stated below

  • Weight for up to 20kg

  • Dimensions no larger than 39cm width, 62cm height, 57cm depth.

 

Deliveries of parcels exceeding the limits of categories indicated above will be accepted and stored by us but will impose an extra charge and will have to be collected through our office and subject to our office hours.

 

We may also collect information that our locker software sends whenever you visit our smart parcel hub lockers. This logged data may include your name, address, contact number, email address, time + date you visit. The security of your personal information is important to us. 

 

We reserve the right to refuse lodgement of any parcel dropped to our lockers, in our discretion, including, but not limited to, were the article 

 

 

  • Exceeds the max weight or size requirements​

  • Is in breach of prohibited goods that is contrary to the law, that is potentially dangerous and/or that may damage.

​

  • Hazardous substances, chemicals, explosives, flammable or radioactive materials.

​

  • Drugs, narcotics and psychotropic substances

​

  • Livestock or any good that would encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infestation or contamination

​

  • Objects, documents or substances in general the import, export, distribution, circulation, use or possession of which are prohibited by law.

​

  • Objects which are due to their form, nature or packaging may be dangerous and can be contaminated or injure/damage people, the lockers or goods of third parties.

​

  • Matters which are subject to criminal law or criminal law provisions which sanction infringement of special laws.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

​

By subscribing to our services, you are agreeing to pay recurring periodic subscriptions for an infinite time until cancelled by you, on the subscription terms set out in the application form you have completed. You can cancel your subscription with a month’s notice. You will not be charged past your cancellation terms. You can re-subscribe at any time following your cancellation, but we reserve the right not to permit re-subscription where we have previously elected to terminate a subscription by you.

 

If you go over your limit of parcels for your subscription type this may impose a one of fee per parcel and we would encourage that next month to upgrade your subscription to the higher parcel allocation type.

 

 

PAYMENTS

​

We require for a subscription to start for a month’s price upfront. If payment has not been received for your subscription, then you will be contacted to make payment and you will have one reminder and 7 days to make payment, if not your subscription will be cancelled.

You must not withhold any part of the agreed price.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts.

 

We require the subscription to be paid by standing order and paid for the date when the subscription started for each month thereafter.

 

 

We will not be liable for any loss damage, cost or additional expense that may occur as a result of your failure to fulfil these obligations. 

 

Please ensure that only you and persons authorised in writing or accompanied by you have access to collect your parcels.

 

Please ensure that nothing is left around or outside of the parcel lockers.

 

We have the right to have access to the parcel if 24-hour time limit has been exceeded and if we feel there is any items delivered to you that go against our terms and conditions.

 

We may change our smart parcel hub charges and you will be given 30 days notice of any such change in advance.

 

 

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

​

  • Loss or damage to cars or other motor vehicles (except motorcycles and mopeds or the like) and/or boats and/or caravans.

 

 

  • Electrical and mechanical derangement unless shown to be as a result of physical external damage to the item concerned or as a result of fire, lighting, aircraft, explosion, earthquake, riot, strike, civil commotion, malicious damage, storm, flood, burst pipes, escape of water or impact by vehicles.

 

  • Loss or damage which occurs prior to the locker storage commencing.

 

  • Loss or damage of jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones precious metals, coins, money, deeds, bonds, securities or stamps or collections of similar kind.

 

  • Loss or damage caused by wear and tear, gradual deterioration, warping or shrinkage, moth and/or vermin unless it can reasonably be demonstrated that such loss or damage arose as a result of our actions or failings of those of our subcontractors or agents.

 

  • Mysterious disappearance of goods in store unless evidence can be provided to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that the loss is solely attributable to the dishonest or convenience of our employees.

 

  • If the value of the goods in store are, at the time of loss or damage, collectively of greater value than the value declared, then you will bear the equivalent proportion of the claim in the same ratio as the actual value exceeds the declared value.

 

  • Our liability is limited to the reasonable cost of repair and no claim will be considered in respect of any depreciation in value of any item as a result of such repair.

 

  • Where any item consists of items in a pair or set, we will not pay more than the value of any particular part or parts which may be lost or damaged, without reference to any special value which such part or parts may have as part of a pair or set, nor more than a proportionate part of the declared value of the pair or set.

 

 

  • Theft unless accompanied by forcible and violent entry or exit to the premises.

 

  • Accidental damage

 

  • Radioactive contamination, chemical, biological contamination or terrorism.

 

You must notify us immediately of any loss or damage to your goods being noticed and you must then verify this in writing within 7 days of the notification. If you fail to make a notification to us of such loss or damage, we will not be liable.
